lighting pillars

(interior)

For my interior shot, I’ve decide to convey the impact of leading lines. The brown and gray pillars lead the picture’s direction inwards. The display lights have caught my eyes with its design and thus I’m trying to focus on it.
The pillars by the side have vertical lines which portray the picture’s strength.
The sunlight that is captured by the side doors have made the afternoon shot more vibrant then the night shot which has little light captured.

life of our houses

(exterior)

The pictures have vertical lines which portrays power and strength. This is what I want to capture in the picture as it’s a building of houses where people feel safe when they are in it.

The tree in front of the picture acts as a frame for the blue buildings. The color combination of green and blue shows the calmness of the picture. Since it’s a HDB flat where people live in, the picture should have both the sense of strength and peaceful.

As for the night shot, the light that is captured in the picture is showing the night life of the people in their houses. The bright yellowish orange light stands out in the night picture as it capture’s one attention.

french horn world

This photo that I’ve chosen has shown a composition where circle and triangle is brought together. The circle that is found on the French horn gives the picture a balance which is then combined with the triangle in the background which also adds to the picture balance.
As for the technique that is used, I choose vertical lines which are the pillar that I lean on. It shows the power and strength of the picture. The curved lines found on the French horn show the calm and sensual feeling of being an instrument and its sound that brings calmness to its player.
For the colors of the picture, instead of using complementary colors, I choose to use a color that stands side by side that is green and blue. The lime green and blue give the picture a sense of calmness which I want to convey people who look at the picture.
